As the Webmaster Sees a bleak future: How bad will it be?
When the full extent of National Debt is exposed, an option to sell off much of our oil reserves will be explored. Canada and Mexico will object strenuously, Alaska and a few energy rich states may attempt to secede; the farm belt may become a 'Strategic Reserve' with the Government stepping in to divert the food crop and feed production to "Biomass fuels.".
They (The Politicians); will say OK to limited drilling yet through rigid enforcement of overlapping environmental regulations make it impossible to get the oil up and to the refineries.
They will curtail the building of and expansion of Nuclear Power Plants and oil refineries using environmental concerns and issues as their excuse.
"Clean" Coal will never be clean enough, another environmental concern will arise due to the derailment of a coal train.
Blackouts/brownouts will be the standard bill of fare in the summers as well as in the winters; especially in the cities.
Flight to the suburbs will be a thing of the past, due to the sudden rise in gasoline, diesel and electricity prices. Gen. X and the Millennium Generations who do not remember the Gas lines of the '70's will be in for the unending surprise of their lives.
Regulations will pass legislation requiring certain "Green Cars" be manufactured in spite of lack of demand. Automakers will be thus nationalized.
LNG (Liquid natural gas) fuels will be mandated but there will be no time to capture nor distribute same to the far flung fueling stations which may or may not be nationalized.
Food shortages will appear for the first time since WWII. Those who remember rationing cards and stamps have all but passed on.
Now for the first time, we will be seeing looting of the supermarkets without civil commotion. The military will be called up to patrol our streets. This stage will be set by the need for our troops to control the crowds making the excuse for the abrupt pull out from Iraq, which will be embroiled in civil war and subsequently divided between Iran and Turkey.
Oil tankers will be subject to heavy tariffs when passing through the Straits of Hormuz.
Strategic Oil Reserves will be reserved for the military only. Canada and Mexico will be told to produce more oil for us which they will not be able to do at any price.
America and Europe will be brought to their knees and mocked by caricatures of beggars in robes.
Israel at long last will either cease to exist or exercise the Samson Option.
And at last, America's creditors will take over all resources, Public and Private lands. When the public finally wakes up it will be open revolution. The invocation of the call to action of the First and Second Amendments will lead to a Military takeover or something worse.
When America falls, many will gloat at the "Fall of the Whore of Babylon" as Shiria law takes hold of many remaining "Democracies."
It has gotten worse. There is a Water War in California. Nancy Pelosi & George Miller (Martinez) have turned off the pumps which feed water into the San Joaquin Basin. The breadbasket of the United States is turning into a dust bowl. This time Caused by politics. The farmers will ultimately sell off the arid land which will be scooped up by the UN for Biospheres and The Sierra Club etc. for Parks (Back to Nature), and will be off limits to the public.
However, the water that feeds to Pelosi and Miller is not owned by their counties. We will have to do unto them as they have done to us.
